Ingredients

  • 5chicken thighs,boneless skinless, can also use breasts
  • salt and pepper
  • 4tbspbutter,divided
  • 3clovesgarlic,minced
  • 1tbspfresh thyme,chopped
  • 1tbspfresh basil,chopped
  • 1tbspfresh oregano,chopped
  • 4ozmushrooms,sliced
  • 1cupheavy cream
  • ½cupchicken broth
  • ½cupparmesan cheese,freshly grated
  • salt and pepper,to taste
  • fresh herbs,to garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter and cook the chicken on medium high heat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until brown on each side and cooked until no longer pink in center. Remove chicken and set aside on a plate.

  2. Add 2 tablespoons butter and melt. add garlic, fresh herbs and mushrooms. Saute for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, and parmesan cheese. Whisk over medium high heat until it starts to thicken.

  3. Garnish with fresh herbs, chopped parsley, and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
