How To Make Soy Glaze Chicken Drumsticks Recipe

Chicken drumsticks in soy and sriracha glaze that already looks good in pictures, all the more when it’s already at your table ready to be consumed.

Ingredients

  • 8medium chicken drumsticks,skin removed
  • olive oil spray
  • ¾cupwater
  • 1tbspSriracha Hot Sauce
  • cupbalsamic vinegar
  • cupsoy sauce,low sodium
  • 1tbsphoney,or sugar
  • 3clovesgarlic,crushed
  • 1tspginger,grated
  • 2tbspchives or scallions,chopped
  • 1tspsesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a heavy large saucepan, brown chicken on high for 3 to 4 minutes with a little spray oil.

  2. Add water, balsamic, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, hot sauce and cook on high until liquid comes to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered for about 20 minutes.

  4. Remove cover and bring heat to high.

  5. Allow sauce to reduce down, about 8 to 10 minutes, until it becomes thick, turning chicken occasionally.

  6. Transfer chicken to a platter and pour sauce on top.

  7. Top with chives and sesame seeds and serve.

Recipe Notes

  • Keep an eye on glaze, you don’t want it to burn when it start becoming thick.
