How To Make Grilled Pompano with Tangy Ginger Sauce

Simply seasoned grilled pompano is drizzled with a ginger sauce of fish sauce and lime juice for a light dish that’s bursting with summer hints.

Ingredients

  • 2tbspsugar
  • 2tbspfresh lime juice
  • tbspfresh ginger,finely grated
  • 1tbspAsian fish sauce,or soy sauce
  • 1clovegarlic
  • 4pompano fillets,(6 oz)
  • salt and freshly ground pepper,to taste
  • ¼cupcilantro sprigs

Instructions

  1. Light a grill. In a small bowl, mix the sugar with lime juice, ginger, fish sauce, and garlic.

  2. Season the pompano fillets with salt and pepper and grill over a hot fire for about 3 minutes per side, or until just cooked through.

  3. Transfer the fish to a platter or plates. Spoon the sauce over the top, garnish with the cilantro and serve. Enjoy!
