How To Make Sweet Potato Sausage Bites

These sweet potato sausage bites are a sure crowd-pleaser! Baked sweet potato rounds are topped with sausages and drizzled with honey for tasty appetizers.

  • 2medium sweet potatoes,sliced into ¼-inch rounds
  • 1tbspolive oil
  • 8ozbrie cheese,(1 round), cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1pkgGrimm’s Fine Foods Sausage Bites,such as Mennonite Style Farmer Sausage Bites
  • ¼cupdried cranberries
  • ¼cuppecans
  • 2tbspfresh rosemary,chopped
  • honey,for drizzling


  1. Heat the oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Toss the sweet potato rounds with olive oil and arrange in a single layer on a sheet pan.

  3. Bake for 15 minutes or until cooked through.

  4. Top sweet potato rounds with a slice of Brie. Slice Grimm’s Sausage Bites and add 3 to 4 pieces to each sweet potato round.

  5. Garnish with cranberries, chopped pecans, and fresh rosemary. Apply a drizzle of honey to each round.

  6. Serve immediately, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

For a savory variation, mince 1 garlic clove and stir into the olive oil. Omit the cranberries and honey. Drizzle with pesto.
