Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 sausage links
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle shape.

  3. Cut the pastry lengthwise into 4 equal strips.

  4. Place a sausage link on each strip and roll the pastry around the sausage, sealing the edges with a bit of beaten egg.

  5. Repeat with the remaining sausages and pastry strips.

  6. Arrange the sausage rolls on the prepared baking sheet in the shape of a garland.

  7. Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds over them, if desired.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the sausages are cooked through.

  9. Allow the sausage roll slice to cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual portions.

  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
