Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 Char Siu style sausage links
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Thaw the puff pastry according to the package instructions.

  3. Cut the puff pastry sheet into 4 equal squares.

  4. Place a sausage link diagonally in the middle of each puff pastry square.

  5. Fold the corners of the puff pastry over the sausage and pinch to seal.

  6. Place the sausage puffs on the prepared baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.

  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish, if desired.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
