How To Make Mace and Lemon Curd
A creamy and tangy dessert with a hint of mace spice.

Ingredients
- 2 lemons, juiced and zested
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/4 tsp mace spice
Instructions

In a heatproof bowl, whisk together lemon juice, zest, sugar, and eggs.

Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.

Whisk continuously until the mixture thickens, about 8-10 minutes.

Remove from heat and whisk in the cubed butter until melted and smooth.

Stir in the mace spice.

Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
