How To Make Mace and Pumpkin Soup
A creamy and comforting soup made with pumpkin and seasoned with the warm and earthy flavor of mace.

Ingredients
- 1 small pumpkin, peeled, seeded, and chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp of ground mace
- 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions

In a large pot, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened and fragrant.

Add the chopped pumpkin and the ground mace. Season with salt and pepper and cook for a few minutes.

Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer until the pumpkin is tender.

Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for a few more minutes.

Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot.
