How To Make Marjoram and Goat Cheese Stuffed Tomatoes Recipe

Delicious baked tomatoes stuffed with tangy goat cheese and aromatic marjoram make for a perfect appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp fresh marjoram, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut off and discard the tops of the tomatoes. Scoop out the seeds and pulp with a spoon to create a hollow cavity.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the crumbled goat cheese and chopped marjoram.

  4. Stuff each tomato with the cheese mixture and place them in a baking dish.

  5. Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  6. Bake the tomatoes for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Serve the tomatoes on a platter and garnish with more fresh marjoram, if desired.
