How To Make Strawberry & Peanut Crunch Pie

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups crushed peanuts
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)
- Fresh strawberries, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, combine crushed peanuts, flour, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.

In a saucepan, combine sliced strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and the strawberries soften, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Pour the strawberry filling onto the cooled peanut crust, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.

Serve the pie chilled, topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, if desired.
