How To Make Rosemary Roasted Chicken Recipe

Savory and aromatic roasted chicken infused with rosemary.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (3-4 pounds)
  • 2 tbsp of fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tsp of kosher salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 2 cups of chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

  2. Rinse and pat the chicken dry, and place it in a roasting pan.

  3. Mix the chopped rosemary, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  4. Rub the mixture all over the chicken, including the inside cavity.

  5. Stuff the sliced lemon inside the cavity.

  6. Pour the chicken broth into the roasting pan.

  7. Roast the chicken for 75-90 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F.

  8. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
