How To Make Blackberry & Apple Loaf
A delicious loaf cake filled with juicy blackberries and apples.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 cup diced apples
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, buttermilk, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the blackberries and apples.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
