Hot Cranberry Citrus Drink Recipe

This is a delicious drink to serve instead of apple cider – it has much more flavor and it’s something different.

How To Make Hot Cranberry Citrus Drink

  • 12 oz. fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 quarts of water
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 cinnamon sticks (3 inches)
  1. In a large saucepan, bring cranberries and water to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and summer for 5 minutes or until the berries pop.
  3. Stir in the orange juice, sugar, pineapple juice, lemon juice and cinnamon sticks.
  4. Return to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Strain through cheesecloth and discard pulp and cinnamon.
  7. Garnish with orange sliver.
  8. Serve warm.

Ingredients
