How To Make Vegan Chai Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 4 cups of almond milk
- 4 chai tea bags
- 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
- A pinch of ground cloves
- Coconut whipped cream, for topping (optional)
- Ground cinnamon, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

In a saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.

Add the chai tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.

Remove the tea bags and whisk in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and cloves until well combined.

Continue to heat the mixture, stirring occasionally, until it reaches your desired temperature.

Remove from heat and pour into mugs.

Top with coconut whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, if desired.
