  • 1 pound sirloin steak, sliced
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 ciabatta rolls, halved
  • 1 cup mixed salad greens
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the minced chipotle peppers, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Place the sliced steak in a shallow dish and pour the chipotle marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.

  3. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  4. Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
