How To Make Redcurrant Sorbet

Ingredients
- 400g redcurrants
- 200g granulated sugar
- 250ml water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions

Rinse the redcurrants and remove any stems.

In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.

Add the redcurrants and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, until the redcurrants are soft.

Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.

Using a blender or food processor, blend the mixture until smooth.

Stir in the lemon juice.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually around 25-30 minutes.

Transfer the sorbet to a lidded container and freeze for at least 3 hours to fully set.

Serve the redcurrant sorbet in scoops and enjoy!
