Creamy Strawberry Pie Recipe

A simple recipe for creamy strawberry pie that surely you and your family would love! Light and tasty, this strawberry cream base is good as it is, add to that a buttery graham pie crust and what you have is an incredibly delicious dessert pie! Certainly the hardest part in this recipe is waiting for it to set in the fridge.

Ingredients

  • 1 graham cracker crumb crust
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 small strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • cup water, boiling
  • ½ cup water, cold
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir boiling water and gelatin for 2 minutes or until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  2. Mix cold water and ice cubes to make 1 ¼ cups, add to dissolved gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.

  3. Stir in Cool Whip and strawberries with a whisk until smooth.
  4. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until gelatin will mound.
  5. Spoon filling into pie crust and refrigerate until firm or about 4 hours.
  6. Garnish with fruit and serve.
