Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of ready-to-bake pie crust
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup of strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a tart pan.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the sliced strawberries, chopped hazelnuts, sugar, and cornstarch.

  4. Spread the strawberry jam onto the pie crust.

  5. Pour the strawberry and hazelnut mixture over the jam.

  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla extract.

  7. Drizzle the cream mixture over the tart.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.

  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.

  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
