- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium bowl, combine the diced strawberries and granulated sugar. Mix well and let sit for 5 minutes to allow the strawberries to release their juices.

In another bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
