How To Make Banana Peach Compote

  • ½ cup water
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • lemon zest, (1 strip), optional)
  • 4 peaches, large, peeled, pitted, and quartered
  • 2 ripe bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces

  2. When the sugar has dissolved, add the lemon juice and zest.

  6. Remove the cooled peaches with a slotted spoon. Chop into small pieces and place in a bowl.
