How To Make Chocolate Spritz Cookies
Buttery cookies take on festive forms with these chocolate spritz cookies. Chocolate and sprinkles complete this yummy holiday treat.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 sheet pans with parchment paper or nonstick baking mats.
Place the butter and sugar in the bowl of a mixer, then beat until light and fluffy.
Add the egg, vanilla, flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then beat on low speed until just combined.
Fill the cookie press with the dough, then press the cookies onto the prepared sheet pans.
Bake each pan for 5 to 7 minutes or until just set.
Cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Place the dark and white candy melts into two bowls.
Microwave one bowl at a time in 30-second increments until melted, stirring until smooth.
Dip the cookies halfway into the chocolate, then decorate with sprinkles.
Let the cookies dry completely.
Serve, and enjoy!
