How To Make Avocado Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, mashed
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the mashed avocados, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter.

  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the avocado mixture, mixing until well combined.

  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
