Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir well until a thick batter forms.

Spread the blueberries evenly in the bottom of a greased baking dish.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar over the blueberries.

Pour the batter over the blueberries, covering them completely.

Bake for 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
