How To Make Cherry Cheesecake Coffee Cake
Crumbly yet soft, impress guests with this decadent cherry cheesecake that mixes strong flavors of cherry with cream cheese into a wonderfully baked treat.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the bottom and sides of a 9-inch springform pan or line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
Combine flour, sugar, and lemon zest in a large bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Remove ⅔ cup of this mixture and set aside.
Add baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the remaining crumb mixture. Mix in egg, sour cream, and vanilla. Press into prepared pan.
Combine softened cream cheese, egg, lemon juice and sugar until well mixed. Pour over crust. Top with cherry pie filling. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over top.
Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool completely then serve and enjoy.
