How To Make Frosted Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredients
- ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
For Frosting:
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup milk
- 2½ cups confectioners' sugar
To serve:
- ice cream, of your choice, or your favorite hot drink
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 13-inch baking tin or casserole.

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt then set it aside.

In a large bowl, mix together sugar and butter.

Add in eggs, crunchy peanut butter, and vanilla. Continue creaming.

Fold in the sifted flour mixture into the peanut butter mixture until evenly incorporated.

Transfer the mixture into your greased baking tin or casserole.

Bake for 30 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Set aside onto a cooling rack and allow to cool down completely.
For the frosting:

Combine all ingredients together and beat until smooth and the sugar has dissolved.

Spread on top of cooled peanut butter bars. Cut into equal pieces and serve along with your favorite hot drink or ice cream!
