How To Make Passion Bars

Grab some oatmeal, condensed milk, and peanut butter, We are going to make sweet passion bars. These dessert bars are great for afternoon snacks! Try it!

Ingredients

  • 2cupsquick cooking oats
  • 1cupall-purpose flour
  • 1cupbrown sugar
  • ½tspsalt
  • ½tspbaking soda
  • ¾cupbuttersoftened
  • 14ozsweetened condensed milk
  • ¾cuppeanut butter
  • 1cupsemisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

  2. In a large bowl, stir together the oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and baking soda. Cut in the butter to form a crumbly mixture. Reserve 1 ½ cups of the crumbs, and pat the rest evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter. Spread evenly over the oatmeal layer.

  4. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the peanut butter layer, then crumble the reserved crust over the top.

  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
