  • 4 plums, sliced and pitted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking dish.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, oats, almonds, cinnamon, and salt. Add the cold butter and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut it into the dry ingredients until crumbly.

  3. Spread the sliced plums evenly in the greased baking dish. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the plums.

  4. Bake for 45 minutes or until the crumble topping is golden brown and the plums are soft and bubbly.

  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
