  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, sliced


  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and gochujang.

  2. Add chicken slices to the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  4. Add marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.

  5. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  6. In the same skillet, add onion, bell pepper, and carrot. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 4-5 minutes.

  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss with the vegetables.

  8. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.

  9. Serve the Skillet Chicken Bulgogi hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
