How To Make Air Fryer Onion Bhajis Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients – chickpea flour, baking powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

  2. Add thinly sliced onions and mix well.

  3. Gradually add water to make a thick batter.

  4. Preheat your air fryer at 200°C for 5 minutes.

  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.

  6. Scoop a tablespoon of batter and drop it in the air fryer basket. Repeat until the basket is full.

  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

  8. Repeat until all the batter is used up.

  9. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
