Crispy and flavorful onion fritters made healthier using the air fryer!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup water
- Cooking spray
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients – chickpea flour, baking powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

Add thinly sliced onions and mix well.

Gradually add water to make a thick batter.

Preheat your air fryer at 200°C for 5 minutes.

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.

Scoop a tablespoon of batter and drop it in the air fryer basket. Repeat until the basket is full.

Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

Repeat until all the batter is used up.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
