- 4 slices of day-old bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- Butter, for frying
Instructions

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.

Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.

Heat a pat of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Place the soaked bread slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.

Repeat with the remaining slices of bread.
