- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Instructions

Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add onion, garlic, bell pepper, and jalapeno to the pot. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, pineapple chunks, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add kidney beans and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.
