  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a food processor, pulse the walnuts until finely ground.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground walnuts, flour, sugar, and salt.

  4. Add the cold cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  5. Press the crust mixture into a 9-inch pie dish, spreading it evenly on the bottom and up the sides.

  6. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before adding your desired pie filling.
