Asian Fish Stir-Fry Recipe

How To Make Asian Fish Stir-Fry

A quick and flavorful dish with vegetables and white fish, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish (such as cod or tilapia), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, honey, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add bell pepper and onion, and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until beginning to soften.

  3. Add garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute, or until fragrant.

  4. Season fish with salt and pepper, and add to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until fish is cooked through and beginning to brown.

  5. Pour in the sauce, and stir until fish and vegetables are evenly coated. Cook for another minute or two, or until sauce has thickened.

  6. Serve hot, topped with chopped cilantro if desired.
