How To Make Waffle House Pecan Waffle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg yolks, and vegetable oil.

  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

  5. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.

  6. Stir in the chopped pecans.

  7. Preheat your waffle iron and spray with cooking spray.

  8. Spoon the batter onto the iron and cook until golden brown.

  9. Serve with butter and syrup.
