How To Make Louise’s Italian Cafe Tiramisu Recipe
A classic Italian dessert made with layers of ladyfingers, light and creamy mascarpone cheese, and espresso, finished with a dusting of cocoa powder.

Ingredients
- 8 oz. (225g) mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. (5ml) vanilla extract
- 2 cups (480ml) strong brewed espresso, cooled
- 16-20 ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions

In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese until smooth, using an electric mixer.

Add heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until soft peaks form.

Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso (do not soak), and arrange in a single layer in a 9×9 inch (23x23cm) baking dish.

Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
