How To Make Louise’s Italian Cafe Tomato Basil Bruschetta Recipe
A classic Italian appetizer made with fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic, and toasted bread.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of Italian bread, cut into 1/2 inch slices
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a bowl, mix together the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Brush the sliced bread with olive oil on both sides and place on a baking sheet.

Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Remove from oven and spoon the tomato mixture over the toasted bread slices.

Serve immediately.
