How To Make Louise’s Italian Cafe Veal Piccata Recipe
Delicious and tender veal sautéed in a tangy lemon butter and capers sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 veal scaloppine
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp capers
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions

Season veal with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add veal and sauté until golden brown.

Remove veal from skillet and add wine to deglaze the pan.

Add lemon juice, chicken broth, and capers to the skillet. Simmer until sauce reduces by half.

Return veal to skillet, spoon sauce over veal, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
