How To Make Jersey Mike’s Chicken Philly Recipe
A delicious sub sandwich made with grilled chicken, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and melted cheese.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 sandwich rolls
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced thin
- 1 large onion, sliced thin
- 1 large green bell pepper, sliced thin
- 8 slices of American cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes.

Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

Add onion and bell pepper to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Return chicken to skillet and mix with vegetables.

Place 2 slices of cheese on top of each sandwich roll. Toast in oven until cheese is melted and rolls are lightly browned.

Add chicken and vegetable mixture to each roll and serve.
