  • 4 steaks, 8oz each (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating the oven to 425°F.

  2. Peel the potatoes and slice them into evenly-sized strips.

  3. Place the fries on a baking sheet and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  4. Bake the fries in the oven for 20 minutes.

  5. Season the steaks with salt and pepper to your liking.

  6. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  7. Add butter and let it melt.

  8. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook each side for 5 minutes or until desired internal temperature is reached.

  9. Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before cutting into them.

  10. Serve with fries and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
