How To Make Culver’s Frozen Custard Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, mix milk, heavy cream, salt, and sugar. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  3. Let it cool and then pour it into a container. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  4. Transfer the mixture to the ice cream maker and freeze as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

  5. After churning, transfer the custard to a container and freeze for 4-6 hours or until firm.

  6. Serve plain or with your choice of toppings.
