How To Make Bob Evans Slow-Cooked Pot Roast Recipe
Tender and flavorful beef roast cooked to perfection in a slow cooker with vegetables and seasonings.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 4 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 4 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the beef on all sides and transfer to a slow cooker.

In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic for 3-4 minutes. Add to the slow cooker.

Pour beef broth over beef. Add thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Add chopped carrots and potatoes.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
