Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh sea scallops
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. sake
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Clean the scallops, remove the side muscle, and pat them dry.

Heat a large skillet or hibachi grill over medium-high heat.

Add the olive oil and minced garlic, cook for 30 seconds.

Add the scallops in a single layer and season them with salt and pepper.

Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.

Add the soy sauce, sake, and butter to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.
