How To Make Dessert Crepes Recipe

No breakfast is complete without hot stacks of delicious pancakes! You may not be a morning person now, but with our yummy pancake recipes you certainly will be! There’re easy recipes for all kinds of different pancakes. We have thick and thin pancakes and ones with fruits like blueberries and banana. Don’t forget fluffy, Japanese-inspired pancakes! Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray or additional melted butter, for coating the pan
  • Desired filling and toppings (e.g., Nutella, fresh fruits, whipped cream, powdered sugar)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth and well combined.

  4. Lightly coat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan with cooking spray or melted butter and place over medium heat.

  5. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the center of the skillet and quickly swirl the pan to evenly spread the batter into a thin circle.

  6. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden and the crepe is set. Flip and cook for an additional 30 seconds.

  7. Remove the crepe from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter, adding more cooking spray or melted butter as needed.

  8. Fill each crepe with your desired filling and toppings, such as Nutella and fresh fruits, and fold into quarters or roll up.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
