  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  3. Dredge the chicken wings in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.

  4. In a deep pan or Dutch oven, heat enough vegetable oil to fully submerge the chicken wings.

  5. Fry the wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain onto a paper towel-lined plate.

  6. In a separate saucepan, heat the honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar over low heat until well combined and slightly thickened.

  7. Toss the fried chicken wings in the honey sriracha sauce until evenly coated.

  8. Transfer the coated wings to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping once halfway through.

  10. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
