Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, garlic, ginger, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth. Set aside.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add beef slices and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Add the sauce mixture to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  5. Return the beef to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  6. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.

  7. Serve the beef and broccoli over cooked rice.
