How To Make Trail Mix Energy Bites

Energize with these deliciously chunky granola energy bites with almonds and dried fruits covered in chocolate and peanut butter. It’s a tasty breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1cupwhole grain crispy puffed rice cereal
  • ½cupcreamy natural peanut butter
  • ½cupdark or semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½cuppeanuts,or almonds
  • ½cupchopped pretzels
  • cuphoney
  • cupraisins,or dried cranberries
  • ¼cupwheat germ
  • 1tbspchia seeds,optional

Instructions

  1. Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.

  2. Remove and shape into small 1-inch balls, or press into the bottom of a parchment-lined baking pan to make granola bars.

  3. Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.
