How To Make Fat-Free Honey Granola Bars

Enjoy your breakfast on-the-go with these easy to make granola bars. With some oats, dried fruit, whey and honey, you have yourself a full meal ready.

  • cups quick-cooking oats
  • ¼ cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup wheat germ, toasted
  • ¼ cup honey, plus 2 tbsp
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • cup raisins , or chopped dried apricots


  1. Combine the oats, flour, wheat germ, and cinnamon, then stir to mix well.
  2. Add the honey and stir until the mixture is moist and crumbly. Add in the raisins and fold to combine.
  3. Pour into a greased 8-inch square pan greased with a nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Pat the mixture into the pan, and bake at 300 degrees F for 18 to 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  5. Allow to cool down at room temperature before cutting into bars and serving.
