How To Make Stovetop Granola
Not only is it healthy, granola is the perfect breakfast food when you want a recipe that’s easy and simple to whip up. Pair your granola with yogurt or snack on them like you would regular cereals to give yourself the breakfast of champions.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g. almonds, walnuts)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (e.g. raisins, cranberries)
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the coconut oil over medium heat.

Add the oats and chopped nuts to the skillet. Toast them for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden brown and fragrant.

Drizzle the maple syrup over the toasted oats and nuts. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and salt. Stir well to coat everything evenly.

Continue to cook for another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the granola is crispy and golden.

Remove the skillet from heat and let the granola cool completely.

Once cooled, stir in the dried fruit.

Store the stovetop granola in an airtight container.
