This guiltless granola recipe contains plenty of healthy ingredients, like various grains and seeds. Sprinkle it over vanilla yogurt for the perfect breakfast.

How To Make Guiltless Granola

  • 3 cups oats (old-fashioned )
  • 1 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup oat bran
  • 1/2 cup wheat bran
  • 1 cup almonds (sliced )
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Combine oats and flax seeds in a bowl. Pour mixture out onto a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove tray from oven and add oat bran, wheat bran and almonds, stirring to combine.

  4. Return tray to oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.

  5. The granola is done once the nuts are toasted. After baking, stir in wheat germ and allow the granola to cool on the tray.

  6. Store in an airtight container until ready to eat. This granola keeps at room temperature for a month.
